You are what you eat

A good diet is central to overall good health, but which are the best foods to include in your meals, and which ones are best avoided? Food is essential for life and a healthy, balanced diet will provide all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins that your body requires. Any diet must include a balanced mix of all the food groups (carbohydrates, proteins, fats).

As well as fitness being important to your training goals nutrition plays a vital role. By eating the correct foods you can improve your performance, lose weight or improve your general well-being.

A nutrition assessment involves you keeping a food diary. For a week you record everything that enters your mouth. Using this information Samantha can analyse your food intake and draw up a plan to help you achieve your goals.

I will help you make realistic, informed choices.
